It's December? WTF?
My how time flies...Where did this year go? I haven't a clue, but I'm kinda glad it's over. It's been a good year, but school has been stressful. I'm ready for the semester to be over in the worse kinda way.
Hmm... updates:
1) Braces are going okay-- My teeth are slowly straightening; I've learned how to chew with these bite turbos, and I have an adjustment in a week. We'll see what he says.
2) Classes suck balls, but I'm glad they're almost over. I have three finals left. If everything goes right, I'll only end up with one or two Bs. I may screw it up because I'm kinda past the point of caring, but we'll see..
3) My eyes have been killing me lately and I don't know what's going on, but I'm ready to not have to study for 2 weeks (my pathetic Christmas break). Maybe that'll help.
4) I love my new apartment and Erin and I are still getting along great. It's good to find friends you truly connect with. I'm very lucky to have a few of them.
5) It kinda sucks to only have 2 weeks off, but I'm happy to get any time off. Next semester is apparently the worst. LAMESAUCE. I have too many plans for Christmas break... too many people to see and too much driving. Agh.
6) I haven't talked to some people in a long time. It's weird how people lose touch. I've been busy, and the people who truly care usually make the effort to contact me and I do my best when I'm not crazy busy to contact those people too. I guess people just grow apart.

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? Lived alone in an apartment for a year.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't even remember what I claimed I was going to do, but I doubt I did it. Who knows? Maybe I did.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Not anyone super close. I know several people who did.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No, thankfully.
5. What countries did you visit? Didn't travel out of the country this year... lame. Maybe next year.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? Better work ethic.
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory and why? October 14, 2009... started my braces!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Getting through semesters at optometry school, letting go of pain from my past, passing competency!
9. What was your biggest failure? Beating myself up about stuff I guess.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nah. I had strep throat and tonsilitis, but that only kicked me on my ass for a few days. Oh and I had a toenail removed... no fun.
11. What was the best thing you bought? Clothes!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Mine. hahahaha. I dunno.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Ugh... some of my family. Kinda depresses me to go home sometimes. :( I'm sure they don't mean it all the time, but still sucks.
