I finally finished that stupid dynamics problem set. Tap-dancing christ that sucked. 2 days late is better than a zero, considering the penalty for turning it in 2 days late is only 0.4% of my overall grade in the course. Stupid angular momentum and acceleration can kiss my black ass.
The Lexus autocross was fun, but I wasn't too impressed by the IS350. Powerful as all hell, it shot off the line like a scalded dog. But it handled like a 1980 chevy cargo van. Totally sluggish response from the front axle, it actually made the course more challenging than it should have been. Now, the GS430, that car impressed the hell out of me. I'd rank it up there with the beamer 5series as far as comfort and handling goes. It barely edges out the 5 since BMW has never once made an interior that didn't look like ABS plastic vomit. So yeah, all in all, had an amazing day on the asphalt Underwhelmed by the IS350, pleasantly surprised by the GS430.
I'd still take an Elise or an Exige over any of them any day of the week, but that's just me.
In other news: the show is coming along swimmingly. The run-throughs are finally starting to click, and rehearsing with live music is always a bonus. Don't ask me about my costume, I have no fucking clue how they can take my measurements, realize that I'm 6'5", and give me a suit where NOTHING FITS. Amazing.
I'm doing so damn well this show. I was talking with the asm's about it. I'll be damned if I'm getting stuck with letch of the show plates this run. I have behaved, my record with this cast is spotless. A couple flirts and teases are trying their damndest, but I'm convinced that's all it is.
Halloween costume is coming along nicely. I've always got the Captain Jack to fall back on should need arise, but I've got a solid Jayne Cobb coming along. Even Vera, who looks amazing in black and fully loaded. I are excited! That, and the prospect of a party at Ariana's has intrigue written all over it.
Kelly made me pumpkin pie. That makes me super happy. I love pumpkin pie, and thus vicariously all bringers of pumpkin pie. Kelly is amazing.
