But I won't take blame. I don't think I've been so busy in my life, and that includes weekdays as well as weekends.
For the past three and a half months, with the exception of only one weekend, we have been going to the site and working our asses off. Said asses are in much better shape, thanks to all this work. Yay.
I'm exhausted. And there's still soooooo much more to do, I can't even begin to tell you in here. However, we did run our first Alliance event, and amazingly, wonderfully, everything went as smoothly as we could ever have hoped for. People raved.
With the help of volunteers, but mainly through the efforts of the owner group, we have transformed an area of the barn from absolutely disgusting garbage/hay/rust covered refuse area to a beautiful tudor tavern. We have a (mostly) clean kitchen area complete with fridge, sink (with soon to be hooked up running water, including hot), serving area, bar, oven/burners (though they will hopefully not get much use--we like catered events :) ). We have a shower room (complete with sink) that is glorious in its roominess and oh-so-sought after showers. We have a basement that will make an incredible dungeon/module area.
