Four More Years

Mar 19, 2007 20:23

It's been four years since the war to "liberate" Iraq began.  I won't go into it, since so many more have spoken about this travesty much more eloquently than me.  I'll just post this:  http://welcome-to-pottersville.blogspot.com/2007/03/teenage-wasteland.html.  Be warned.  Some of the scenes are really graphic.  Tears will ensue.  And anger.  Much anger.  I will quote this from the blog:  "225 teenagers have been killed in Iraq since 3/19/03 in the time it takes to get a full college education. 214 were American.  Eight of them were teenage girls."

Also, if anyone can help me figure out what the link for this post is so that it continues to appear, even if this blog is updated, I'll be eternally grateful!

On a much, much, much lighter note, is it really bad that I'm watching Dancing with the Stars to see what happens to Heather Mills?  I feel...rotten!
