Well Anthony had a good 9th birthday and party yesterday, lots of active boys running around and having fun. He got a lot of Yu-gi-oh stuff, which is totally worthless paper in my eyes, but somehow makes my son very happy. So my youngest is now 9 and it just goes to show how little time you really have with your kids before they are gone. There was a time in my life that I felt like I would never be doing anything but taking care of screaming babies and changing diapers and now I actually miss those times when my kids were more dependant on me. Anthony has been getting in trouble a LOT for what I would consider "talking smack" to his teachers. He got notes sent home twice this week about talking when he is not supposed to and always trying to give an excuse when he gets in trouble. Somehow, he thinks he knows it all. I don't get this. It's not like we cater to him at home like he's always right. He got a U on his report card for conduct, the worst you can get, Unsatisfactory. He got one last time too. The notes being sent home have him grounded from his Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, his PS2, playing with friends and his TV. He is most upset about the tv. He really does watch way too much tv. I think this will be good for him to have a break.
Friday night I am having a scrapbook party and already 4 people have RSVPed, all people I really like so it should be totally fun. I am very excited about it, and hopefully I will sell enough stuff that Richard will also be happy and we will have some room back in our house. I've already sold an album and stickers yesterday to someone who won't be at the party.
We watched the Colts game today and it just about killed me. Bad, bad game. Not even worth watching until the last 5 minutes. I totally expected the Colts to win.
I talked to my Gramma today and she sounded good. It made me feel better. I miss her. She told me she was too stubborn to die this time, and that it wasn't her time to go. She said she gave the nurses hell. Hahaha, that's my gramma.
Apparently, my older sister is getting married in June. I say apparently because I have heard this third hand. Maybe someone on LJ could clear this up for me. At least three or four people should know the details.
Just a side note, I love the movie "Joe Dirt." I could watch it ten times in a row and still laugh my butt off.
gramma,
anthony
