My little brother David rules.
He took his ACT this past Saturday and I was in town so I hung out with him afterwards to see how it went. He showed me his special ACT pencil that had three extra grippies on it for extra “gripage action”. “Grippage action” apparently maximizes your ACT taking skills.
He also talked about how he was super prepared for this test. He skipped out on a party Friday night. He got up and ate a good breakfast Saturday morning, practiced vocabulary flash cards on the way there and had his calculator ready to go.
He said the one thing that threw him off was that he didn’t have any clean socks so he wore someone else’s.
Me: David, that’s like wearing someone else’s underwear.
David: Well, you say it like I don’t do that all the time.
He said that he had to borrow some of Dad’s underwear the other day, which made him feel extra weird because they were of the boxer-brief “hybrid” variety.
I partied at the Electric Cowboy in Chattanooga Friday night to help my sister celebrate her 21st. That place is like a bunch of cowboy hat-wearing good ‘ol boys dancing to rap/R&B. It was like Atlanta’s Hoe Downs, only bigger and not gay. :)
A good time was had by all.
I kept thinking about the girl.
