I went to Tower last night with the sole intention of just buying my sister a birthday present (her 21st is this Friday), but I know better. Tower is one of those stores that has the ability to suck me in and wring me dry. It’s like I walk in the door and people keep throwing music at me and taking my money until 3 hours later I’m crawling back

I think kanye is an extraction placed into the market because it qualifies as "acceptable hip hop" while holding a gangster backing...It's just too chess positioned for my liking...Plus, I think he's not very skilled in production as most give credit, I don't think he's good at mixing his beats, he keeps all the instruments in the front, just like his persona, a sampling of something seeming humble, but everything always has to be brought to the front so theres alot to it, but no depth...

The writing on his new album is alot better than his first, but still...Lemme hear somethin' else..ha...
