It must be time for an update
My business is going well. I have continued to work from home and regular work has been filtering in. I had a slow week last week and a couple of weeks ago, so I do have to watch my expenditure so that we can still afford to eat when their isn't much work. But on the whole, it's quite successful and I can FEEL that its going to be more successful as time goes on. I remind myself that I have really only been doing this full time since early August and in many ways, it is still a growing and developing business. I am getting quite a bit of contact from people (a guy who owns a local business here but I wasn't able to help him as he wanted phone answering) and believe it or not, a few people wanting to work for me! That is something I can see happening down the track - subcontracting when my workload becomes too heavy.
Still single. I don't have time for blokes now.
I am finally a LTM at Weight Watchers and have maintained for a few weeks now. I still want to lose another couple of kilos but I will do it slowly and overall I am very happy with the way I am looking and feeling these days.

I trialled the Diva cup a couple of weeks ago and didn't have much luck unfortunately. The little bit on the end dug into me and CANED! I had to stop using it because I couldn't get the position right and was developing a sore from the rubbing. I will try again next period. I am off birth control too, as I want to give my body a break and hey, if I'm not having sex currently, then what is the point??
There is an extremely good chance that Marc from England is coming to see me in December (to experience some warm weather and escape the cold dreariness of England at that time of year). I'm not sure how long for but I am so excited! He has broken up with his partner and feels he needs to get away somewhere warm, and I have said he can stay with me for nothing and maybe paint my kitchen for me (I want to paint it white). I am also looking at converting my shed out the back into a home office and as he is a carpenter, I may get him to do that for me depending on how long he stays for.
Darcy has his school play tomorrow afternoon. His main concern is that he has to wear make-up and is not impressed!
