M.I.A. is pretty damn good. she opened for LCD soundsystem last may, she has some rad clothing. she's like less than five feet tall and she's a real sweetheart, i met her later at the after party and she said she loved my outfit and we talked about how neat secretary blouses are. her stuff isn't "dancey indian rap" it's dancehall and she's not indian she's sri lankan.
