this is the first painting destined for etsy/wherever. randall was my guinea pig! i'm going to try to stick to ideas that, while they interest me personally, aren't all TOO personal. i'll paint a couple randalls, maybe, but the shop is going to be more the things i like than personal characters.
that right there is my tea jar. painting with tea is NICE. smells good, too.
a better look at the whole drawing, with tea still in the beginning stages. many layers of tea are required. i think i should have used earl grey rather than orange pekoe, but anyway.
and a bad photo of the finished product. i'll take a better, brighter picture when the sun's out; the day i finished this, it was thunderstorming like crazy.
oh yeah, and check out what i got in the mail yesterday!
1/2" bloodwood rings! i finally have 'big' earrings in the proper size; i still wear my ebony shields but they're 10mm, which is 3mm smaller than where i am now. oh man these rings are the perfect size, i am so in love. and they aren't anywhere near as heavy as ebony, so i can wear these ALL DAY and not feel uncomfortable. fhgfh <3
