Thinking about all of this precollege/college/highschool/communitycollegecourses is going to make me asplode. At least I know I'm doing something right since I got into the Cooper Union Outreach program (Free art classes in NYC!!) .However, I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am doing on this lab report to get over 100 percent error. But anyway:

So my school wants us to choose courses in freakin' January, so I decided to look at the schools I want to go to and see what transfers. I was leaning towards doing this option where you combine normal highschool (since the only courses required for senior year are English and Gym (aka my least favorite classes, of course)) and community college courses. Unfortunatly, you still have to pay for CC courses and some colleges, like MICA, don't accept any transfers of college credits you receive while in high school. And I'm learning that most of APs only count for elective credits. I really just wish I could go to Art School and never have to write a freakin essay again!! I understand academics are important and all, I just want to live 4 years of my life entirely left-brained, if you know what I mean.

I'm also debated going to RISD for precollege. I would be sooo epic, I'm kinda worried it would be really hard though, since UArts was a joke, at RISD you get homework and research assignments for your art history and it's six weeks, so basically the entire summer. Plus I don't know whether to go for painting or illustration... I just worry that illustration will be too... not portfolio material? At least there's a foundation drawing class as well, so no need to worry about that. And of course gotta work for that scholarship. I'm really excited but super scared! If I chicken out I could try for MICA... but since their NJ rep basically just emailed me that all of the pre-college class credit I have is useless I'm a little pissed at them right now xD

And just college in general, it's so freaking expensive and insane, and it's not even a guarantee! For an artist there's sooooo many options, which is good and bad. Like there's theArtDepartment.org, which is looking insanely good in its first semester, but I don't want to go to school online. They have PODS which are like real life studios, but you're still pretty much learning for online streaming classes. Basically I just wish the Illustration Academy (which is pretty much the meat and potatoes of TAD) was bought by Ringling so I could go there and feel good in Florida weather. And then I love RISD but its kinda funny one of my art teachers hates it and the other thinks its great. Someone brought up an interesting point that it's not located in the industry hubs of art, so it may be harder to get a job and uggghhhhhhh. I am just. so. Over it.

So basically in my senior year I want to take courses that will transfer so I can skip some liberal arts classes, maintain my GPA and keep making new portfolio pieces so I can get a nice scholarship even though I am a boring middleclass white girl, and just live and breath art for four years and get hired to be an illustrator for games/books/movieconcepts/magazines straight out of college and live my happy art dreams and find a nice guy and all of that great stuff; but I have NO IDEA HOOOOOOOOOOW.

Just wanted to organize all my info and thoughts... I can't stop thinking about Pokemon Sapphire. I used to really dislike that game, but now all I want to do is play it

Here's my former team, Nincada (Tzikas) evolved and was replaced by a Trapinch (Dart), Skitty (Calico) was replaced by a Lunatone,(Penumbra),  Taillow (Bunting) and Shroomish (Shroom) evolved, Combuskin (Cadmium) and Aron (Titanium) stayed the same. This picture is going to get a lot more complex as I update it xD

pokemon, blargh
