I love when God takes a concept that I've long-held as truth, and revamps it. I think it's one of the most exciting parts of following Jesus. to me it's one thing I can pinpoint as being indicative of growth; and recognizing my own growth is something I really treasure and value

I like that. Good way to put it, and a good thing to keep in mind. It reminds me of what Craig said at IHOPancakes. About the people who see disasters like the 2004 tsunami or whatever example he used and ask how a loving God could allow that. And he said something along the lines of the real question to ask is how is it that God hasn't destroyed the whole world already, aren't we blessed!?

yeah, it probably made you think of Isaiah 58 because the chunk of uncited Scripture I used is FROM Isaiah 58. :)
