Life is beautiful
Yesterday I celebrated the 21st birthday of one of my best friends. He's been gone for a year and a half and that fact really hurts sometimes.
They planted a tree and placed a bench in the park overlooking the hill where he used to play soccer.
Last night was for eating sushi, open mic we close friends, krumpees (the donut shop in the alley in hagerstown he loved) sitting on his bench star gazing, pouring a beer for him, sparklers and more love than I've felt in a long time.
I know he was there and felt loved too.
