Whatta week

WOW this weekhas been a toughy. We put my grandpa in an assisted living home (not a nursing home). It was sad seeing him have to go there, but he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. After my mom told him about it. He was willing to go, which is really good. We thought we'd might have trouble getting him there, but he hopped into my uncle's van and went willingly. I'm glad. His room is really nice too, it doesn't even smell like urine as those places usually do. It's up here in Picayune, a nice big place in the back of the woods. The ladies that work there said some of the old ones that live there like to put there names on signs and hang them on their doors. So me and my mom went to Walmart today, and she bought this wooden plaque in the art section, and some stencils and paint, and I made him a little sign. When we went there today, around 3:30 he was sitting at a table all by himself, because it was almost supper time. He looked so pitiful, broke my heart too. Then he saw us and his face lit up, and he waved. So I brought him his sign, he seemed to like it a lot. Poor thing. He loves Anthony, he can't hardly remember my sister's name, but he talks about Anthony so much. I think it's because Anthony has this thing where he just gives off good vibes to everyone who meets him. He's a little shy at first, but then he'll get talkative. Our wedding date has been moved back a week, so that we can have more time to plan things. It's going to be on the 31st, and I have about 25 people who are coming. We don't even have any idea where it's going to be at. We're working on that though.
