I don't know whether its the fact that next week looks so confusing or the fact I feel like crap, but this episode was lacking something for me.
(and no I don't mean pie- or daises or anything like that) I don't know. All I know is I don't feel snarky and I don't have a ton to say. It was a weird episode.
However there were a few things I did like:
Peter and Claire in the Sewer. Peter being awesome without powers was made of win as did Claire's whole I'm not leaving you speech. I reminded me of season 1 Claire. the whole scene reminded me of what I love about Paire.
Sylar helping Elle was also awesome. They have such chemistry and the bit where she was showing him the ins and outs of her powers was sweet. Arthur was NOT pleased by what he saw, but I was.
I love how Nathan turned his back on his dad. I also love how Tracy was all I can fix this. It reminded me of Jessica. And I kind of miss Jessica.
Matt and Daphne were adorable at the end. I'm so glad she came around. Its also good to know Arthur still loves Angela.
Hiro thinking he's 10 was the best part of the episode. I loved all the little pranks he played after her froze time. And going to the comic shop and the comics being wrong. Ando showing him and making him believe was a great throwback/ reversal of season 1.
Mohinder's remorse for what he did to the mutilated man leads be to believe there is hope that his character wasn't terribly destroyed.
Also Claire being the catalyst? Seriously? It always goes back to save the cheerleader save the world huh? Except she's not a cheerleader anymore. She's a runaway. But save the runaway save the word doesn't have the same ring to it does it?
Next week better be an alternate universe thing because um WTF? I don't even know if Bryan Fuller could save this show if Daises gets canceled and 3x10 isn't an au type of deal.
This show is turning into Aerican Idol except in reverse. With Idol you start watching the bad auditions and appreciate the little good you get. Get hooked on one good person and watch it till they are gone. Except with Heroes: You watch because it was awesome and get hooked then the bad happens you watch the trainwreck for the little good you get because you care about a few people.
Yeah I know that doesn't make sense.
