It's amazing what happens when you spend a week without taking your normal vices ( I don't know if a sleeping pill prescription counts as a vice, but if it gives you a kick and you enjoy it, then it's a vice...caffeine, definitely LOL) and then you don't sleep properly. My body was just running on empty all week. It's scary to think about how little sleep I got, and how your body breaks down when you don't get enough, period. As much as I work out and train, that's not a good thing. I felt myself literally coming down with a cold a few days ago and I immediately upped my vitamins ( the best stuff in the world that seems to cure any onset of a cold, for me, anyways, is this fizzy drink called EMERGENCY C...it comes in lots of tasty flavors but I like raspberry). I take a couple packages of that and mix it with water and it seems to do some wonders for me.
So yesterday I came home from the gym ( I had no energy to work at the club and it's been dead from what the other girls have told me) and crashed...I mean I literally just passed out and slept for 13 hours. I heard nothing. The fire alarm could have gone off and I probably would not have awoken. My cats were wondering " Is she dead?? Who's gonna feed us??" I didn't hear the cell phone ringing ( and I have the ringer set on loud). When I woke up, I thought, oh, that clock must be mistaken...it's must be morning...but NO...it was this afternoon and already getting dark.)
Well hell...I needed my sleep. I went through this whole week like a extra-tired zombie who didn't even have the energy to terrorize anyone.
