Coorg Wedding

Welcome to the family: welcoming the bride to the family, by dancing and blocking her, testing her stamina, and this went on for more than an hour; Coorg Wedding in Bangalore.

From slicing banana stems to show the prowess of the groom's family and sitting on stage getting blessings(and cash only gifts) from everybody, to a test of stamina for the bride carrying water pots while people from the groom's side(and in this case friends of the bride too and the groom himself) block her, not to mention the free flow of alcohol and dance; several unique things in a Coorg wedding; a few glimpses follow.
