Eliskimo's friend Rob has entered a story contest to try to win $5000 to be help pay for corrective surgery for his daughter's microtia. Whichever story gets the most votes wins.
All we have to do is:
1. Visit and bookmark this link: https://getaheadin2010.usbank.com/Story/6487
2. Click on "Vote for this story."
3. Provide an email address, an american city and zip code.
(n.b. -I'm using "Connie Sutherland, Juneau, Alaska 99802", and a junkmail email address. You only have to enter the city and zip code the first time. Thereafter, for daily voting, you only need to enter the email address.)
4. Vote again tomorrow until the contest ends Feb. 28th
5. Repeat.
I don't know Rob or his daughter, but I've known Eliskimo for ...egads...is it really 2.5 decades? yeesh! well, since highschool days and yes I trust her.
Eliskimo reviewed the contest rules and says they only apply to the contestants in terms of residency, and that the same email address can vote once each day until the contest ends on February 28th.
At this writing Rob's story has only 758 votes.
