"Stealthy as a Socialist, it's creeping up our shores..."
So we saw the house yesterday, and it is a-mazing. It's enormous, we were walking through it with Carmel, the owner, and it just. Kept. Going. They've recently renovated the place, too, so it's super nice and clean. The two full bathrooms are large and immaculate. There's hardwood floors, the washer and dryer in the unit, and the kitchen is really, really nice, there's two entrances, and two different rooms that can serve as the living room, and the location's so great... I want to move in right now.
There's two other groups applying for it, so we've got to get our applications and references in superquick. Carmel said they'll probably be deciding early next week. Even if just one of us has our applications and such in, I think that might be enough. Parker and maybe Daniel are going to live with us there as well, and that will lower each of our rent significantly with the five of us splitting it. Oh, I want it so, so bad. I will be so sad if we don't get this place.
We watched Smokin' Aces this morning, and it was a little bit disappointing. I was expecting way more action. The action that was there wasn't too bad, but still, I wanted it to be like, non-stop, as exciting as all the previews were making it out to be. And Ben Affleck has the best role of his career in this movie.
I guess that's about all there is to report. I need to get off my ass and out of Nashville, as I have a bunch of errands to run and things to do in the Murf.
