Let it all out...
First off, even though I know this isn't on the right date, I'd like to take a moment to remember the victims of 9/11 as well as the recent Hurricane Katrina, particularly in new Orleans. If only the government was as quick to react to Hurricane Katrina as they were on 9/11.
I've just finished The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sedold, and I guess I'm in a pensive mood. It's an excellent book which I recommend as I enjoyed reading it, but its just a little depressing to think about. It's about a young girl who gets raped and murdered and then watches over her family and friends from heaven. Made me think of how much alive we are in everything we do, and how quickly it can all end and we'll never realize how much there is to miss.
