got a promotion today. my job will change from being mediocre and boring to really really cool. i get to research mental health issues for literature reviews and write sociological abstracts and papers. this is a big deal, people with only a bachelor's degree don't get to do this stuff. it is cool. also, being paid for 20 hours automatically when you only work 10 is also cool.
