DS Broken in FX2.0RC2

Oct 08, 2006 15:32

Subject says it all...

The user pic display doesn't, and the drop downlist of places to post is empty.

(Posted this via the Livejournal site rather than deepest sender)

Update: and now appears to be working, must have been an intermittent fault over at LJ.
Update: and broken again...

spellcheck, firefox, bug

I was having same problems with DS 0.78 in RC1. I'm still seeing the problems: drop-down journal list is empty, and it doesn't select the default userpic, leaving me with a blank picture at login.

Can you go to about:config and turn javascript.options.showinconsole to true, then have the JavaScript console (or whatever they renamed it to in 2) open, and load DS, then paste what it says?

I don't know if this belongs here, since I don't know if I'm using FX2.0RC2 -- the Firefox "about" only says 2.0. I'm running WinXP, and Deepest Sender started acting weird after I installed FF 2.0 instead of 1.5. The default userpic doesn't show and the drop-down list of places to post is not a drop-down list at all, just a tiny little square with dots in it. It also hangs when I post -- it keeps looking as if it's trying to send, but when I update the LJ page the entry has been posted already. It also refuses to load the old posts in the edit past entries function. Sorry to bother you people, but I haven't been able to find a help file for DS anywhere, and I have been very satisfied with it up till now...

Oh, and I use the Swedish language version of FF 2.0, if that makes any difference?

Thanks a lot for any help anyone can give me...
