So yesterday was pretty eventful...
I left Kristens to babysit Zack at 8am.
Since usually Lisa works at home, I try to get Zack out of the house so he doesn't interrupt her phone calls and things.
Zack and I went to "Pump It Up", a big warehouse that has 4 huge moonwalks to bounce around in.
Zack and I were going through the obstacle course one, I turned around and saw that he fell and he was crying a little bit, so I picked him up, trying to reassure him that it was fine...
Usually Zack would get up and start running around again, but he didn't. So, I looked at him and it looked like he was falling asleep on my shoulder, so I held him up so I could see him better and I said "Zack?", but he didn't respond and his eyes were closed and he was limp.
So I quickly took him out of the moonwalk and he woke back up, he was walking and he seemed to be fine except for his face was a littl pale. So I called Lisa and told her what happened and that I was bringing him home.
On the way home Zack was pretty sleepy but I continued to talk and sing and tickle him so that he would stay awake.
So we got to his house and he gave his mom a hug and said that he was tired and such, then he walked to the couch to lay down and I followed him bc I didn't want him to fall asleep. But he laid on his stomach and almost immediately I picked him back up, then Lisa and I looked at him and he had gone limp again with his eyes closed, so she called 911 right away.
We kept him awake until the paramedics came to check him out. They said that he seemed to be fine but she should take him to the emergency room to get him further checked out.
So I left and she took him to the hospital. I waited a few hours and then called to check on him to see how he was doing. Zack ended up having a seizure at the hospital but he is fine now. They don't exactly know why anything happened but it hasn't caused any damage to his brain and it shouldn't happen in the future, it's supposed to be a one time thing. It turns out Zack had a fever as well but it was unrelated to him passing out...when Zack fell it caused some kind of trauma to his head. He stayed in the hospital last night and will be there again tonight but gets to go home tomorrow.
I have never been so scared in my life. Out of all my years of babysitting, nothing like that has ever happened and I hope it never will again.

On a better note, my dad called me thursday night with some wonderful news.
Steve Foxbury (Burry) is coming to town Friday night and playing at the Social with 7 Mary 3.
I knew the show was sold out, but his friend Ashley had connections and was able to get us in.
We were able to make it to see Steve play only two songs, but it was better than none at all bc I really never thought I would see Steve play again in the first place. My Dad bought me beers and we got to talk to Steve for a bit and hang out with him a little. I said hello to Kim, and Ashley kept sneaking me puffs of her cigaretttes.
Kristen and her friend Brittany came for a little bit. They had a bit of trouble at the door but my dad gave them some lip....haha, not really. Tony Luke heard that someone saw my Dad going in the Social so he came too. My Dad told him to get in to slip the door guy 20$....so he got in. Then my Dad drank a little more and started dancing - so funny. He called Gayle about 10 times leaving her very funny messages...he called Sarah and Mel too. At the end of the show I ran to my car to get my camera and ended up taking pictures inside the social...I bet they will come out well.
The bassist from My Friend Steve (*sigh*) came up and started talking to me. Little did he know that I am a BIG fan of his (and Steve Burry's) band that broke up many years ago. Ashley told me a little earlier that he had had cancer, that really doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I talked to him for a bit. He invited me to go to House of Blues tonight cause 7 Mary 3 is playing there and he's going to be there playing with them or something. But I can't cause I have to work and do a lot of shit around the house.
Oh and also who played last night was Paul, the drummer from Matchbox 20. He's started a solo album. Ashley grew up with him and Steve and stuff. She told me that he is married to Moon Zappa, Frank Zappa's daughter...I don't know who Frank Zappa is really (I know I should...I'm sorry), but I do happen to know that Frank's son (Moon's brother) is together with or married to Selma Blair who happened to be in My Friend Steve's video, bc the song "Charmed" was the song for 'Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane' (a show that was on a few years ago that starred Selma Blair before she became more famous).
Yeah, sorry about all the blabber. But the bottom line here is....
I don't think anyone will ever make me feel the way that Steve Burry does.
