I made the mistake of turning CNN on for a few minutes today. Just long enough to hear that the next segment was on "Sex, Drugs, and Offshore Drilling." ....

This is why I prefer history to current world affairs.

They all boil down to money in some way... so I'd agree with you there.

Let's see people have sex for money. People sell drugs for money, and people drill oil for money. I suppose they do all deal with money don't they.

It is, but only the major events have any historical significance. The current media will speculate and blather about the most inane things to fill time.
