Disclaimer: Don't know, don't own, never happened
Summary: Ville knew Bam loved him. The roses said it all.

I was zipping my suitcase when I heard a key in the door. Steady, I told myself. It might not be Bam. It didn’t have to be Bam. It could have been any of my clients that had a key. There were a few.
“Ville! Where are you?” of course it wasn’t them. It had to be him. I turned and ran out of my bedroom, ran through the hallway.
He was waiting in front of my door with a single red rose in his hand. His face broke into a smile when he saw me. His arms-oh those arms! Those arms that I dreamed about-opened wide.
I found myself launching myself onto him. I locked my legs around his waist, my arms around his neck. He cradled me under my bottom, kissing the side of my head.
“You’re here,” I whispered. “Oh, you’re here.”
“Yes,” he replied. “Of course I’m here. You know I can’t stay away from you for long.”
“I missed you,” I pulled my face back. He kissed me gently, twice, before setting me down and presenting me with the rose. I knew I had blown the carefully constructed idea that I couldn’t care less whether or not he was here.
“I missed you, too.” He watched me smell the rose. Bam reached out and took it from me.
“They offered me the chance to strip the thorns off, but I said no.”
“Oh?”
“I knew you’d understand why.” I didn’t. There was no reason to tell him that. I just smiled and offered him my hand. He slipped his fingers into mine and let me pull him towards the bedroom.
After all, it was where we both wanted to be.

“What did you pack?” Bam watched me as I wrestled with the zipper on my suitcase. I glared.
“You could help.”
“I could,” he agreed. Instead, he wandered over to my jewelry box and began to pick through my baubles.
“Where’s your necklace?”
“What?” I stood up straight, pushing my hair out of my face. Finally, I had managed to close the poor, overstuffed bag. I knew it was going to be even harder to pack up to go home.
I was going shopping there. I shuddered. I didn’t want to think about the horrors that awaited me.
“The diamonds, Ville. Where are the diamonds?” he turned to me. I smiled and tilted my head back. The stones glinted in the hollow of my throat. Bam breathed a sigh of relief.
“You didn’t think I’d lose them, did you?”
“No,” he looked rather sheepish. “I just thought maybe… I guess I did think you’d lose them. Because you didn’t like them that much.”
“Why would you think that?” I was shocked. Bam shrugged, looking down at his feet. I smiled as I crossed the room, wrapping my arms around his waist.
“They’re some of the most precious things I have, Bam. They were a gift from you.” I whispered, pressing kisses along his neck. He smiled them; I could feel the muscles in his back relaxing.
“Okay,” he murmured.
“Let’s go to bed, darling.” I released him and hefted my suitcase onto the floor. I stretched out on the bed, my love watching with an amused look on his face. I lifted one hand and crooked a finger in a ‘come hither’ gesture.
“Come to bed.”
“I’m not tired.”
“Whoever said that we’d be sleeping?”
