How was someone allowed to commit such a crime against the books here? I understand that the library is beyond impressive astounding in size and scope rather large, and that the person in question was working there, but such destruction, so easily done?
I do not think you all understand what you allowed to occur.
I would like to work in the library myself to ensure the safety of these books. I imagine any request to be armed in doing so will be turned down, but I would like to keep the words which you are responsible for safe, even without a weapon.
Also, has any of the damage done been repaired? Is there anything I may do to that end?
