I should write again!

Exciting things are happening all around me right now. Classes have started at Eden again...and I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things.

The Fighting Apiru finally had the championship game last night. And we won!! Robb, my co-coach, and I were very excited and very very nervous. We were afraid that we were putting too much emphasis on winning...and not enough on having fun. But not to worry...we remembered that we were there for one and beat Grace United Church of Christ by the score 6-5. We won in the bottom of the 7th inning. Bases were loaded and there was one out...and the mighty mighty Keela Neumann came up to bat. She managed a base hit that scored our winning run!! It was great. I actually cried! Afterwards we had a party in the courtyard here at school. It was a very very good time. Needless to say, Keela got the MVP game ball! It was so much fun.

Perhaps most important...as of late...is that love seems to be in the air. Amy, one of my classmates just proposed to Katie, the Apiru's 3rd baseman tonight. Surprising Katie to death because she had a ring for Amy as well. They're so happy together...and I'm glad to have them as a part of my life. My first boyfriend Michael is getting married in April. I'm very happy for him...but it is strange knowing that my first love is getting married. He was and is so very special to me. My bestfriend from Hiram College got engaged in May. Lastly, I performed my very first wedding for a very close friend of mine from church camp. Love is definately in the air...just not for me in the romantic manner.

Love does surround me though. I have great friends and professors who remind and show me that love. Although I would like to find that special boy, I know that right now I must focus on school...and remember, even when it gets hard that there are people around me who love and care for me very much.

Yay for people in love!
