A dismal month for reading, a fault I lay at the feet of Five Weeks in a Balloon, which took a week to finish, and especially Vonda N. McIntyre's The Moon and the Sun, which I don't think I will ever finish. Seriously, that latter book broke the part of my brain that knows how to read. I feel like I have to train myself how to read again, it was that boring.
1.
Blackout by Connie Willis.
2.
All Clear by Connie Willis.
3.
Five Weeks in a Balloon by Jules Verne.
4.
A Fine and Private Place by Peter S. Beagle.
5.
Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome.
Favorite:
A Fine and Private Place
Least favorite (that I managed to finish, anyway):
Five Weeks in a Balloon
Not a great start, especially after finishing the first two books (totaling 1100 pages) in a mere eight days. I thought I was on track to read more than 100 pages per day this month. Oh well.
