I have found a new place to shop... The Goodwill. Laugh if you must, but this place is a GOLDMINE. I find things there that are perfectly what I'm looking for that I couldn't find at the mall. It all started when I went to the one in Millsboro (the best one in the MD/DE area, in my humble opinion) to find a costume for Rock N' Roll Day at school. I found a cute white cardigan set for $3.50. I went back later, and found a vintage Lacoste polo shirt (the new Lacoste polos will set you back $80) and a Ralph Lauren polo. I'm the type of person who likes to wear traditional cuts and styles, and the Goodwill is perfect if you don't like the new stuff out there. Not everyone really likes (or looks good) in that new maternity cut that is popular right now.
So anyway, I have been compulsively addicted to going to the Goodwill. I think about going there when I'm bored. I imagine walking down the racks and suddenly finding another adorable Lacoste polo or a Member's Only jacket that I can take home and call my own. I'm not a fan of the Salvation Army because their prices are higher and their clothes are more new looking. I want vintage, older looking pieces.
