One of the concepts I loved when I read the game, and something I still feel is very important is obtaining a successful trifecto in your life. Love, money, and health seem to be the keys to a truly successful life.
Unfortunately, I've noticed that at least one part of the trifecto has remained elusive in my post college endevours.
Shortly after college, I accepted a position as an accountant with a prominent construction company. I began working 60+ hour work weeks, the industry norm when starting out... and my love life/health fell to shit.
Afterwards, I stopped doing accounting for about a year, during which time I was able to keep women in my life and my health improved drastically... however my finances faltered.
I ended up going back to accounting for two more years, during which time my finances again greately improved... while my physical and mental health in conjuction with my love life deteriorated miserably.
Now, for the past 2-3 three years.. I have been fiscally fucked yet my physical and love life is great. I have strangely been able to keep quality women in my life easier, and more plentifully when I've been broke. I think part of this has to do with the type of work I was doing, and my lack of passion for it although I was performing well and putting in long hours.
Now, I'm making a point to work on all three areas of my life. I'm doing the bicycling so that my health is improving quickly, I am still able to maintain/meet women with efficiency.. but the fiscal part is again the problem.
Sales jobs seem to be quite variable in pay, even deceptively so... but regular jobs are mind numbing and accounting doesn't lead to stability in other areas of my life...
Has anyone else experienced this... does anyone have any suggestions?
