My dad got hit by a car today. He was riding his bike. The driver thought he was in the right, but there's an intersection where bikes can go straight and cars cannot, and the driver didn't look, and he turned straight into my dad. He never lost consciousness, and he got to the hospital where they gave him two stitches in his chin and diagnosed another broken collar bone (the last one was three months ago, but this is the first time he was hit by a car) and he's home now with his arm in a sling (to protect the shoulder where the collar bone broke) and on painkillers. He's relatively fine. He's safe. That was scary.
