The Suit

Tess' shipsuit is a Wegner Pro VI model, straight out of the Glitterball manufactories. It's built as a full survival system, able to efficiently sustain her in space or on an alien world. The jumpdrive and specialized computer systems built into it makes it a fully-functional interstellar transportation system, able to intelligently jump, use gravity to adjust speeds, jump, adjust again, etc. The suit's impact-resistant-not totally, but enough to handle micrometeorite impacts and things like that.

The suit itself is slightly iridescent, often but not always a pleasant blue-green color. It's form-fitting-and quite a form that is, given the girl's well-endowed figure. (If Tess knows how teasing her appearance can be, it's not too often that she acknowledges it-except when she's specifically teasing someone...) It has slim, tight-fitted compartments and a small "backpack" unit all built into the suit; it's the "backpack" that contains the smart-material wings that let her glide from orbit to ground. Her face is often exposed, with the suit's faceplate split and retracted to either side, but her skin has something of a plasticine quality, as it's covered with a transparent membrane that also harmlessly stretches over her eyes and nose and mouth. (Her hair isn't visible-the helm's under-layer isn't open enough for that.)

Often there's a gun on her hip-literally on it, as if glued there; a handgun in garish colors and a short-barreled caliber huge enough that it seems likely somebody who actually fired it would break something in their hand. It completely lacks an actual sight and any way to reload, making it seem an awful lot more like a toy gun than a real weapon.
