Kisame was caught up in the moment of an intense battle. His water technique was dominating his opponent, sending waves and waves of water everywhere. His shadow clones had already captured three of the kids (via water prison tenchnique)... whatever their names were. Nicknames would have to do for now... the "girly guy", "meatbun head" and the "idiot look-alike." Worked for him.
"Ha! You shall never overpower me! I will fight and win and rescue my cute little students...!!!"
The shark just rolled his eyes. This guy was so annoying. As the large man in green tights came charging at him with that high-pitched yell of his, Kisame threw out his fist and punched him square in the nose, knocking Maito Gai out cold. The bell rang with a sharp 'ding ding', signalling the end of the round.
--wait, what? Round of what? Oh well... it didn't matter. As long as the satisfaction of getting that Gai idiot back remained, he could care less what was going on. A referee (that looked curiously like Itachi) suddenly appeared out of nowhere, grabbed Kisame's wrist and pulled it up into the air.
"Winner: Hoshigaki!"
He could totally get used to this.
