There's absolutely nothing wrong with questioning your faith as long as you don't completely lose it. Believe SOMETHING, even if you believe in nothing, believe IN it. I think that questioning your faith is a good way to strengthen your faith, even if you end up changing your mind, your faith will be stronger in whatever you believe. I don't think there can be one universal truth or Earthly truth as it were. If it were discovered and everyone found out about it, the world I think would be in turmoil, shambles, and ruin. It would change the planet forever. Saying that, I say the truth has to be a personal thing. I was not raised in a Christian household, I was raised in just a conservative household. My dad was a Lutheran, and my mom a Catholic, who converted to baptism after we moved to Louisiana because she actually never really liked catholicism. I have nothing against any religion (besides Scientology) because of their beliefs. I have a bit of a problem with religion in general and their snobbery of "It's my way, or you're screwed", not to mention the general corruption in most (but not all). I find that religion or God or whatever is meant to be found within. I personally do believe in God, but as to how everything else goes, I have no idea. I like Jesus, but I think he is not equivalent with God (as many will say), just the son of God. Close, but not equivalent. But anyways... I definitely believe in God, but the details after that are fuzzy. It's just really hard to say, you know?

Yeah. It's hard for me to say that there isn't one universal truth. I want to say that there is...but maybe that's something else that I need to question and examine.

Oh, there's definitely a universal truth. If there wasn't, then the statement that there wasn't a universal truth would be a universal truth. :)

I love this sort of stuff.
