Between the hours

Limbo is such an odd place to be. That term "limbo" is quite deserving of its written expression, it suits the meaning.
A person is seen as not being content with anything that surounds them, perhaps it is not that they lack the understanding and acceptance of what is around them. Rather, that person has come to understand that they are in a limbo. Where some have adapted and started distracting themselves with the lovely spectrum of distractions life has offered, perhaps this person seeks no distraction, only to escape this "limbo".

When I say escape I do not mean death. Though, I have always found it odd that our country denounces suicide. Makes me laugh.
How can you really keep people from killing themselves? Oh wait - easy. Give them tons of shit to do to destroy their inner pain without destroying their outer manifestation - too quickly. Just long enough to drain them of what they have.

Anyways, back to limbo. Isn't it odd that lately society as a whole is starting to wake up to a whole new set of ideals?
Humanity has its pauses in ignorance in short bursts. Sadly we can never maintain it. Keep that retarded oblivious nature of ours on pause.
See, back in the 70's hippies started to think differently. Unfortunately, their judgement was clouded with drugs and little "distractions."
It seems that they were not ready for an improved mentality. So they return to society and it's limbo., where anyone who isn't indulging in life's little pleasures is viewed as odd. Perhaps that person forgoes those pleasures so that they can keep an eye out. See things that you can't because you're too blinded by your shiny things. What if it is not them that is in limbo but you?

I am not arguing that there is more to life. I can't argue a point that people won't listen to. Can people really think that this realm is just one year after another full of work, money, sex, drugs, driving, eating, sleeping, and sometimes fun or hardship?
Sounds to me like the same shit just a different year, style, and technology to do it with.

Who are you? Why are you who you are? And so on. If you are happy with the simple answers that you justify to keep your bran from being overloaded with the collecting realities tht you have been neglecting your entire life, by all means, take the easy answer.

Personally, that was always boring to me. Life generally gives me a sense of disinterest. Some say I am a sociopath, some say I am desensetized, others think I am counter-culture. My least favorite is depressed. I am sorry if the truth makes you sad, but it doesn't make me sad. Call me crazy but I don't like easy things. I dated crazy girls because it was hard. I chose to love when life decided I couldn't because it was not stronger than me, and that defeat wasn't easy. Know what you are. Test your limits. Grow.

The hardest thing to do? Escape this limbo. You are surrounded by it, engulfed by it. When you get a taste of real truth, it's like a breathe of fresh air from underwater. Only the water is swallowing you like this limbo does all around you.

Take a deep breathe and try coming up for air. It's quite nice, I assure you.
