Taking Things Into My Own Hands
I've decided that for a bit, i'm going to stay off of websites like Tumblr and Facebook and Youtube as much as I can. I realized that a few things concerning my post-secondary education and my future are seeming a bit bleak at the moment. I'm getting too distracted by all of these websites (especially Tumblr) and all of the things that should be at the up most importance are suffering as a result of simply not giving a shit about them.
So today was the first day without Tumblr and anything else. I've been doing nothing but searching for Jobs to apply for, looking into Grants and School Loans and Scholarships to use that will help me as soon as possible because I have to pay a lot of money for this College Program i'm enrolling in.
Aside from all of that going on, I've been listening to a few new bands. Peace is one of them, and Last Dinosaurs is the other. I've only just heard about Peace for about 3 days now and I can't believe I didn't find them beforehand! My lovely friend Sadie asked me if I knew them, to which I didn't, and now we're going to see them in concert tomorrow! I'm super pumped. I know all their songs now and all the band members' names too. Hopefully we will meet them and get pictures after the show. I will make sure to make a blog post about it on here once Friday morning comes around.
The other band is Last Dinosaurs. I really like them a lot, and i've been listening to two of their songs in particular for a long time now.
