Every year there's a Christmas party made up of a large group of friends here. Most of know each other through our medieval society and very often the parties are themed. This year our party was held on a lovingly restored 1902 coal-fired steamship, the Waratah.

Appropriately it was a steampunk party.

It was v cold and my friend dropped my suitcase on my foot, making it very very sore!

John is having a lot of fun and taking people with him, this is a good and worthwhile thing. And yeah, Patrick was just right.

John is, and it's lovely. He was having such a good time that night and I have to say it was brilliant to see. Guh, that Patrick. The boy is brilliant. You should have seen the gadgets he made too.

I know! It actually took us several shots before we recognised B. I am very jealous. We were meant to go, but a combination of us double-booking ourselves and me being feeble meant we regretfully pulled out of the great adventure. Still mad keen on doing some steampunk.
