THREE TRUTHS AND A LIE by Brent Hartinger
Rob, his boyfriend Liam, Liam's best friend Mia, and Mia's boyfriend Galen head out to Mia's rustic cabin in a Washington rain forest for a weekend, but someone is sabotaging their gear and when one of them ends up dead, suspicions rise amongst the friends. This atmospheric novel has a dripping, cold, mossy setting that is a character in itself and adds to the creepy factor. The end is a bit rushed, but satisfying nonetheless, and the four teens compliment each other well. A good upper-YA murder mystery perfect for Halloween season. (Simon Pulse, 2016)
