It's confirmed!
Hie to all kind hearted people!
The charity event that I've mention in my september post is pretty much confirmed.
Home: Chen Sun lan Children's Home.
Date: 17th December 2006, Sunday
Time: Yet to confirm
Venue: Suntec City Duck Tour
Approx. children: 20
Volunteers needed: 15
What to bring: All the good stuff you can donate. Cash will do too.
Our initial idea was to bring the children to places which doesn't require the volunteers to take out any amount from their own wallet. But the home likes the idea of Duck Tour so we are pretty off budget this time round.
We hope that anyone of you out there who wish to help out but yet unable to join us that day, would be able to donate any sum of money to help us make the whole event possible.
I will be setting up a paypal account or fund transfer via posb for the donation, which ever is more convenient for you. All the expenses for the day, (exclude expenses of the volunteers, since volunteers must pay for their own ride and meals) will be account for and send to whoever have made their donation as a prove that their money are being well-spent. All unused fund will be donated to the children's home.
We shall start this all over again since previously no actual date was confirmed. If you're interested to help us out on the actual day, please leave a comment or email me @ anne84@singnet.com.sg . Same for those who wants to make donation, please contact me.
