Now that I've been able re-re-re-re-read this, I'm especially impressed with dom!Wilson, because I'm so not thrilled with the way he's been emasculated this season and as a result in a lot of the fic, including in some cases, my own. So double fudge brownies for giving Jimmy his mojo back.

Oh, yeah, Jimmy's got his mojo here. Nightdog said once that House lets his anger overflow and wash over Wilson. That's what Wilson is doing here, far more physically than House ever takes it, of course. He lets the anger drive him, and House enjoys it.

Putting this fic aside, I don't think House likes emasculated Wilson either. House wants a challenge, not a doormat or nag.

PS. Would you want more from this "universe"? This was hard to write, so it might take a while, but I've got two more scenes bouncing in my head (House asks Wilson to mark him, and House's Dad catches them while they're "doing this"). Possibly a post-ep for "Need to Know" too.

Well, keep in mind, I like my hate-sex, not too introspective. I could see the first idea and I'd love to have some post-Stacy punishment, but I'd want to keep dad out of it, unless of course you agree with me that House is full of shit in ODOR and make that abundantantly clear. Because if it's abusive dad catching them and lots of psychological backstory that his "abuse" made House this way...you might lose me. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't write it if that's where your muse takes you. One thing I wouldn't mind seeing is Wilson's pov while some of this is going on, but still not too much navel-gazing. I think that's been done to death, and I'm as guilty as anybody.

Yeah, the abuse stuff just pissed me off, because it's so boring. Unconventional thinker clashes with straight-laced father - neither understands the other; neither can fully appreciate the other - is more interesting than Dad bad, kid good (Mom - nowhere?).

No introspection on parallels at all in the scenario in my head. Just a big "Ha, Dad, I get off on a man smacking me around. You've got a perv son - Fuck You" but not in those words.

Another one came to me tonight - House falls down some stairs at the hospital and has to be admitted because of his injuries. He keeps going into headspace and wants Wilson to hurt him at the hospital. Big no-no but Wilson worries House might let something slip, so he has to be sneaky about it. Maybe could get some Wilson POV there, because Wilson is really uncomfortable about bringing that dynamic out anywhere but in the private circumstances of his own choosing. He likes his nice, neat compartments.

It would be interesting to see how one or more members of FCC would react if they found out what was going on. And thank you for supporting me on the abuse thing. I know we can't ignore canon just because we don't like it, but I've got enough pretzel logic going to prove to myself that it's not true. (The same way I believe the "strip club" story instead of the "paint ball" one.)
