Sg1 Unending part 2
I find on second viewing, that I liked Unending far better the first time I saw it. (Here are those thoughts: My first review.
Some of the things I liked in the episode the first time, i still liked. (The musical montage, Sam's Cello for examples.) But the things I disliked-the lack of team, the lack of mention of Jack, the fact that everyone abandoned Sam to figuring it out all by herself for FIFTY FREAKING YEARS...those annoyed far more in second viewing.
I will miss the show though. I really did love it when it was good. (And I can comfort myself in the fact that it never got as bad as Buffy did at the end.) I have all the DVDS-so I can keep enjoying what I didn't hate, and pretend Mitchell and Vala were just from the AU (or self-insertion fanfic) they started showing after Moebius aired.
But for the good years-here's to SG1 once one of the most clever and original sci-fi shows on television! How I loved it. I cried both times I watched Unending.
