Catching up with dear friends.......
Today the sky was blue, the air was cool it was a perfect spring day (except that it is still officially winter).
It started with a call from my best friend in Seattle - Mark. It's been a few weeks since we've connected I think we have spent more time leaving messages for each other than actually conversing. We actually had a great conversation. I do miss him it's been a while since I went up there to visit him. I know I’m due for a trip to Seattle….maybe soon.
I went to Oakley today to visit some friends - Jen and Dennis. I adore them they are the sweetest people. They had asked me to come early before the rest of the guests arrived and I am glad I did - I was able to spend some quality time with both of them and the kids. I love being around them there is a lot of love in their family and you can feel it. It's that type of love that I long for.....
After a couple hours of hanging out with Jennifer, Dennis and friends, Lance and Cheryl showed up....it was really good to see both of the especially Cheryl. I see Lance every once in awhile however, I do not get to see Cheryl often. I love them!
Received a text from mr it's always nice to hear from him more especially since he seemed cold when we hung out a month ago. I understand his actions and I don't fault him for that I do hope it means he is thawing out...he's a really good friend and I miss our conversations.
It was a nice ending to the weekend..........
