(no subject)
Well, it looks like I was wrong about my roommates medical stuff. She did have a blood clot in her lung after all, which was big enough to cause fluid buildup in her lung, which led to the pheumonia. She's still in the hospital; they thought she might me able to come home this past Sunday, but she had a fever, and the clot still isn't completely dissolved yet. And Beth has informed me that the dissolving clot is incredibly painful - they've got her on just about every pain drug you can think of. But hopefully if all goes well she'll get to come home this weekend, although she'll have to stay on some of the drugs for a few more days, and probably still need an oxygen tank. My boss even said that I could take a few days off work to help her out until she gets back on her feet. Did I mention that she has 5 cats? Along with 5 litterboxes and 5 food and water dishes...and those cats are little pigs. That's not even counting my Loki, who is a giant porker. :)
Tonight i'm planning to see a screening of 'The Orphanage', which I can't wait to see - I just hope I don't fall asleep!
