LotS Rewatch Mini-Recap: 1x01 Prophecy and 1x02 Destiny
A couple of thoughts from the rewatch this week, whoo!
I have a Confession to make: It's actually kind of painful going back to the script!fail explosion of exposition that is the pilot:
Zedd: YER A WIZARD, HARRY.
Richard: ?¿?
But it still has THE GREATEST OPENING SCENE OF ALL TIME. Cue: hair!
The Best Bits
Kahlan's “I'm just not used to people touching me” scene, and how apparent it is that she would enjoy being touched some more.

That scene where Richard builds a bridge to display his down-to-earth average-joe-ness rack of abs.
Lens flares: Eat ya heart out, J.J. Abrams, anamorphic lens flare party in Hartland!

Because Kahlan is all :D :D :D and Richard is all *defiant hero face* and because Zedd is offscreen, ha :P
It's so nice to be back in the Seeker saddle! I've been wearing my nostalgia jodhpurs all day, and rode back to pay tribute to the first Legend of the Seeker post I ever made. (I obviously haven't grown up much since 2008… xD)
Random fandom trivia: The only IMDB review I have ever felt compelled to write was for Legend of the Seeker. The subject line reads “As someone who hasn't read the books...” …I gave it 10 stars? Ha, there goes all my street cred in one hit :P
Next week, BOUNTY (that ep where the blonde ‘damsel in distress’ makes Kahlan prickly and jealous-IT'S AWESOME)* and BRENNIDON (...I don't remember much about that one. I bet it has nice Kahlan hair though).
