In other news (as my post title suggests), I saw the new X-Files movie...
(for such a cool poster...)
Dude, soo NOT Awesome!: I want to Believe that it wasn't written AND directed by Chris Carter (X-Files creator). I want to Believe that this wasn't someone's SERIOUS effort at jump-starting the franchise. I want to Believe that David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson ACTUALLY read the script before signing on to this..this... (for lack of a better word) LOOGEY that Carter hocked in the face of maybe the greatest (non-Star Trek) Sci Fi TV Series of all time - and definitely his life's greatest work, and yet he chose this ridiculous movie as his swan song.
I just can't believe it!.
What a shame, what a shame. And the shame is all on Chris Carter. He not only disappointed millions...um, thousands (hundreds?) of movie-goers, but also every X-Files fan on the planet (and probably others).
