I'm alive + lots of graphics
Hi :)
So it's been a bit over two months since my last post. Not much has happened, though. One of the highlights was my (very) last minute decision to go to Fedcon XX the first weekend of May :D I got to see Richard Dean Anderson *squee* Scott Bakula, Paul McGillion, Kate Hewlett, Robbie Duncan McNeill, Garrett Wang, Wil Wheaton and so many more. I had a great time and I'm happy that I decided to go after all. I have some photos to share but I haven't uploaded them yet, so there's gonna be a a bit more detailled Fedcon post in the near future :)
I also said in my last post, that I wanted to dedicate some time in March & April to get some writing done for My Kind of Normal, which I did, just not as much as I would have liked, but there is pogress. I want to have a few chapters finished though before I start posting again. It doesn't help that I still couldn't decide if I really want to go with that somewhat darker version that has started to take shape in my mind's story outline over the years... and I can't believe it has actually been almost 3 (three!!) years since the last update, where hs all that time gone?? It sure as hell didn't seem that long to me -
For those who want to take a peek and haven't seen this before, last year I posted excerpts from all my WiPs for a meme thing. All of it is unbeta'd, but yeah... um, click here for that
Other than that, running whitecollaric all on my own for the past 7 months now [how did that happen anyway?] takes up a huge chunk of my time, as well as making icons for various icontests. Add to that my random bursts of fandom obsessions, like the four months where I just had to read everything that was new, old & inbetween in the McShep and Nu!Trek fanfic verses and there is little 'free' internet time left...
Speaking of obsessions, I got a brand new one: Hawaii Five-O ♥♥♥ I finally got around to watch the first episode four weeks ago, mostly because James Marsters is in it, but McDanno had me hooked right from the start! Since then I've basically spent every waking minute glutting myself on all the awesome things that are Five-O, Steve McGarrett & Danny Williams!!! So expect to see lots of graphics for that in the near future :D
And last but not least, some icons & stuff :)

There was a haeder challenge a while back for the new community header and profile page banner. I had much fun with these, and thankfully the time to participate, and even won the first place with one of my banners :D
I've been thinking of modifing the ones that didn't win for general use, but didn't have the time to do so yet
