Yesterday I was feeling pretty sad and anxious. I found out that my boss is going to be dissolving the partnership he has with his daughter and cutting back in a big way.
What this means for me is that he's considering moving me out to front desk reception and eventually cutting me back to part-time. And that's okay, because it just reaffirms my plan to go back to school and I'm going to need something part-time when that happens anyway. But while I know this is all for the best, I'm going to be heartsick with missing my current job. It's hard when something good comes to an end even if it is on the road to something better.
I should have known my flist could be counted on for making me feel better. So without further adieu, the presents my flist gave me... without knowing they were giving me anything at all:
