10 Odd things/Weird habits:
1.) I bite my nails and have since I was 3. This may not seem weird, but my nails are about 1/2-1/3 of the size of non-nail biters. This is also compounded by the fact that my hands are about the size of an average 3rd grader.
2.) I talk to myself when no one is around. It's not that I hate silence; it's more that it sometimes helps to hear things out loud.
3.) I hate most perfume. I guess I'm somewhat sensitive to smell. I've been known to yell at people wearing too much perfume and ask them if they either are "a baby prostitute" or if they bought their perfume so that it resembles a French whorehouse. It's not that I have an issue with prostitutes, merely their poor taste in perfume (that sickly combination of Freesia, lavender, and powder... ack).
4.) I can watch the surgery channel and eat spaghetti with a red sauce.
5.) I've been dyeing or modifying my hair (off and on) since I was 7. My parents found the joy that is sun in and then when I was 11, I realized I could turn my hair red with peroxide. I like my hair purple, but be damned the corporate environment I am employed.
6.) I don't like people I don't know touching me. I've been known to leave crowded bars or other places because of this issue.
7.) Despite being a large woman, I have one of the lowest alcohol tolerances known to man. I can have a drink and be nearly drunk. And by 1 drink, I don't mean a jumbo margarita, just a normal one shot drink.
8.) I hate green beans. This is not just your normal hatred of green beans. I'm normally against the idea of a widespread culling of plant or animal but I could be persuaded if anyone would be willing to rid the world of green beans.
9.) People are afraid of me. I am always flabbergasted when I hear this. Weekly people tell me this. I don't understand it.
10.) I like almonds. I'm tempted to say that is an understatement. I am almonds bitch, would be more apt. I will take them anyway I can get them (amaretto, raw almonds, almond milk, I could go on).
I'm not tagging anyone as I am a jerk.
In new news, I signed up for a dark room class... so excited. I obtained my supplies (rc paper, etc) so I now need to take 2 rolls of film. I'm somewhat nervous that my work is going to look like crap in comparison to the other people in the class. It's also a small class, which is great which means I'll get extra attention, but that's a downside, too.
