the answer is indubitably "no".
someone who works in a separate department was introducing some new guy from the department of "none of my business" and she insisted on introducing new dude to me. when i saw her coming over to me, i put my headset on and pretended to be checking voicemail. she even pronounced "oh, she's checking her voicemail". i thought i was home free. sadly, no, b/c she then followed up with "but, we'll have to wait b/c she's really unique". dammit.
i don't know what i was expecting, this is the same person who said "wow, you're probably the kind of person who hates hugs" and then gave me a huge bear hug for approximately 18.5 minutes. she made it even worse by referencing the good will hunting scene where robin williams character tells matt damon's character that "it's not his fault". i think she thought i would start crying or something.
weas, my motto on friday was definitely jam out with my clam out. i didn't really do anything particularly exciting, but i did announce in the morning meeting at work that we should have a day of "up with skirts, down with pants".
did anyone watch pinwheel when they were younger? i did. i loved the bunny in a suitcase that was on it. seriously, the title of the cartoon was "bunny in a suitcase". i knitted one. there was no knitting pattern, so i made it up as i went along. i'll post pictures once i'm done stuffing it and once i get off my lazy ass and get the film developed.
i saw ~thank you for smoking~ last night. it was funny (the theater audience clapped at the end of the film) but i felt like it was missing something. not exactly sure what, just something.
