And another working day is over. It's nice to volunteer at the film festival, but I didn't realize that it would mean 10 days work in a row. Well this was my 6th day, so only 4 more to go and the festival started today, so I'm able to watch films for free from now on! :)
I work in the call centre of the film festival and at the counter to sell tickets to people and I discovered that the ticket sales are a mess!! People tried to make reservations by the internet during the weekend and they all failed or sometimes partly failed, while they believed that they made a reservation. When those people come to the counter to collect their tickets I have to dissapoint a lot of them, I feel sorry and most of all embarrassed. It's such a big festival and it's working with stupid rules which are not friendly for costumers and at the same time people don't get anything back for it. It seems like the IFFR is arrogant and thinks that people will come to the festival anyway......hmmmm....I think they should reconsider their organization at this point.
Tomorrow I will visit two films, I hope they will be worth the effort! I'm really looking forward to it. In total I would to see at least 15 films, but that's nothing compared to other who will visit 40 films or more. I didn't even know it was possible to see such an amount of movies in such a short period of time.
No it's time for bed, have to get up early tomorrow :)
